East Valley Children's Theatre will present its 2010 Summer Musical Theatre Camp this June.
The camp will take place at Stapley Junior High School, 3250 East Hermosa Vista Drive in Mesa, AZ, located north of McKellips Road between Lindsey and Val Vista. Two sessions will occur: Session I from June 1 - 11, 2010 (8:30 - 4:30, concluding with a daytime performance on June 11), and Session II from June 14-25, 2010 (8:30 - 4:00, concluding with a daytime performance on June 25).
The AM Program (until 12:00 noon) will cost $155, and the PM Program (starting at 1pm) will also cost $155. The All Day Program (8:30am - 4:30 pm for Session I or until 4:00 pm for Session II) will cost $225. The camp is open to all kids ages 8 - 15. It will consist of classes in acting, singing, and dance.

This camp will take place June 7 - 18, 2010, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 noon. This camp will take place at the EVCT Rehearsal Studio, 4830 East Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85205. This is an introduction camp to performing on stage and will focus on basic theater performance skills in acting, singing, and dancing. A morning snack is included in the fee.

East Valley Children's Theatre will additionally choose a former EVCT performer or technician to receive a scholarship for higher education. The Theatre has $3,000 in scholarship money to give out this year. Selected candidates need to be enrolled in or intending to enroll full-time in a two-year junior college, four-year undergraduate college or university, graduate program, or professional theatre-training program. This is a one-year scholarship for the school year beginning fall of 2010. All applicants and recipients may reapply each year. Proof of enrollment is required.Videos
