Today in 2006, Tarzan opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where it ran for 486 performances. Tarzan: The Musical is based on the Disney film of the same name and the story by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The songs are written by Phil Collins and David Zippel, with a book by David Henry Hwang. The production was nominated for a Tony award for Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Natasha Katz). The cast Featured Josh Strickland, Jennifer Gambatese, Shuler Hensley, Merle Dandridge and Chester Gregory.

In the first live performance of AMERICAN IDOL's Season 11, the top semi-finalist guys performed live for America's vote. Reed Grimm, Adam Brock, Deandre Brackensick, Colton Dixon, Jeremy Rosado, Aaron Marcellus, Chase Likens, Creighton Fraker, Phillip Phillips, Eben Franckewitz, Heejun Han, and Joshua Ledet took the stage on Tuesday, and the judges agreed that America has some tough decisions to make.

DanceOn, the YouTube partnership channel exclusive to dance videos, released their behind the scenes look at the highly anticipated Sony animated film The Smurfs. Choreographer Keith Young talks about the process of choreographing for animation and how he brought the smurfs to life. Plus what it was like to work with leading actors Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria. The Smurfs hits theaters nationwide on July 29, 2011.

Josh Strickland, currently starring in PEEPSHOW and 'Holly's World' on E!, debuted a music viedo for his first ever solo artist single on iTunes. The song, titled 'Report to the Floor' was co-produced by Grammy Award winning producer Damon Elliott and by Norwegian pop/dance producer Axident.
