Kinky Boots released a sneak peek into their rehearsal room as they prepare to return to the stage beginning on July 26th at off-Broadway’s Stage 42. The video features a behind the scenes look as the company prepares to put the boots on once again, as well as interviews with select company members about the show’s impact and the journey of bringing the uplifting story back to NYC.

Kinky Boots producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Jake Shears, lead singer of the glam pop group Scissor Sisters, will make his Broadway debut as 'Charlie Price', succeeding Stark Sands beginning Monday, January 8, 2018. He will play for a limited run through Sunday, April 1, 2018. That same day, January 8, returning to the cast as 'Lola' is J. Harrison Ghee, who succeeds Billy Porter.

KINKY BOOTS producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, along with Grammy and Tony Award-winner Cyndi Lauper and Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, are encouraging people to get out the vote on November 8th. Fierstein and Lauper surprised a recent audience at the Tony Award-winning musical, and joined the cast on stage for a reworked version of the show's Act 1 finale 'Everybody Say Yeah,' and then helped patrons register to vote. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce celebrated Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, the creators of the hit Broadway musical Kinky Boots, with the 2,577th and 2,578th stars, respectively, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of the historic Pantages Theatre yesterday, April 11, 2016. Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler emceed, and unveiling the star were guest speakers Sharon Osbourne on behalf of Lauper, and Marissa Jaret Winokur on behalf of Fierstein. KINKY BOOTS producer Hal Luftig and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell were also on hand to celebrate. Go behind the scenes of the big day below!
