Lena Hall is reprising her Tony Award-winning performance as Yitzhak in the National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, in performances at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco (through October 30, 2016) and the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles (November 1-27, 2016), opposite Darren Criss. In a groundbreaking twist, she'll also play the role of Hedwig for one performance a week in San Francisco and Los Angeles. It is a rare occasion for a Tony Award winner to go on national tour, and historic for the same person to play both Hedwig and Yitzhak.

The road crew over at the national tour of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH have released a new video featuring the show's cast, director, and creator discussing the details of Hedwig's first outing on the national circuit.

As reported last week by BroadwayWorld, a trio of Broadway and cabaret favorites, Seth Rudetsky, Liz Callaway and Melissa Errico, each announced on social media that they will be involved with a televised performance tonight, July 27th, at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Last night, BroadwayWorld was at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando, Florida for the 'From Broadway with Love' concert to benefit the Central Florida LGBTQ Community and the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. Happy Birthday Daniel Radcliffe! Radcliffe is best known for playing the title role in all eight of the blockbuster Harry Potter films. In 2008, he made his Broadway debut to much acclaim in EQUUS. Radcliffe won BroadwayWorld.com's 2009 Theatre Fans' Choice Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play for his role in EQUUS. He returned to Broadway in March 2011 with HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, and was succeeded by Darren Criss, and later Nick Jonas. He most recently led the Broadway production of THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, which just concluded its limited run at the Cort Theatre.

Jodi Benson, known as the original speaking and singing voice of Princess Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid, surprised the audience of DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID at the Hollywood Bowl with a rendition of 'Part of Your World.' Check out the video below!

What started out as a submission for AMERICAN IDOL eventually ended up in A VERY POTTER MUSICAL, which skyrocketed the actor to fame. The tune has since been sung by Criss across the country.
