Universal Music Group Nashville is teaming up with Universal Music Canada on country newcomer Josh Ross. Now turning heads in Nashville and beyond, Ross was recently named one of Spotify’s Hot Country Artists To Watch, has shared the bill with Bailey Zimmerman, and will join Nickelback and Brantley Gilbert on a North American tour this year.

The signing reunites Paisley with UMGN Chairman and CEO Mike Dungan and President Cindy Mabe. Dungan was instrumental in signing Paisley to his first deal at Arista, and Mabe served as Paisley’s marketing point person through many of his early album cycles including his breakthrough projects, Mud on the Tires and Time Well Wasted.

GRAMMY Award-winning country band Shenandoah is hitting the road on its 2023 cross-country trek, the Revival Tour. The first leg of the 50+ live concert tour includes stops in Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Iowa, Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Kansas, with more to be announced soon.

“Trouble” was co-written by Josh along with Mason Thornley and was just featured in the January 5th episode of Fox’s hit TV series “Welcome To Flatch” which is currently available to watch on Fox and Hulu. Additionally, Josh recently performed “Trouble” on Access Carolina, while in town for the Bailey Zimmerman tour.

Developing an affinity for music at a young age, the Ontario native grew up in a musical family, with early influences including John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Elton John, The Eagles, and Bruce Hornsby. Palmer's father bought him a drum kit in elementary school and challenged him to develop an appreciation for not just the sound.

The song was written by Hubbard and fellow artists and friends, Russell Dickerson and Thomas Rhett, and was produced by Hubbard and Jordan Schmidt. The song highlights the beautiful parts of a relationship and loving people for who they are. “Me For Me” also has an accompanying unofficial music video.

Written by Hubbard, Jaren Johnston and Chase McGill, and produced by Hubbard and Jordan Schmidt, “5 Foot 9” has also been certified Gold by the RIAA. Hubbard’s debut solo single went No. 1 at radio and was certified Gold by the RIAA within six months of its release, and Hubbard is the first debut country artist to go No.1 this year.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has announced the acquisition of May We All: A New Country Musical. Co-written by Troy Britton Johnson, Todd Johnson, and Eric Pfeffinger, the musical features arrangements and orchestrations by Brian Usifer. Suitable for all audiences, May We All features an authentic country score of hit songs made famous by Florida Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban, and many more.

“Somethin’ Bout You,” written by Guyton with Tyler Hubbard and David Garcia, serves as the first of three new songs expected this year from the Texas-native. Also on Friday morning, Guyton is set to perform “Somethin’ Bout You” as part of her appearance on TODAY Summer Concert Series. Tune in to NBC at 7 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26.
