LAByrinth Theater Company Presents World Premiere Of DEVIL OF CHOICE

LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz) recently announced that they will present the World Premiere of Devil of Choice by LAB Member Maggie Bofill (Winners, Drawn and Quartered). They are thrilled for performances to begin Wednesday, May 23, and will run through Saturday, June 9, 2018, at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, New York, NY 10014). An official opening night has been set for Monday, May 28, 2018. Tickets are available for $20 each and can be purchased online at www.labtheater.org/shows-and-events

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) announces a one-week extension of the New York premiere production of The Great Leap, written by Lauren Yee and directed by Taibi Magar. The production, which opens on Monday, June 4th, will now play through Sunday, June 24th, 2018 Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company's Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street).

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.)Conservatory Director Melissa Smith announced today that honorary Master of Fine Arts degrees will be conferred on A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff, as well as acclaimed actors, directors, and teaching artists Steven Anthony Jones and Gregory Wallace. Perloff, Jones, and Wallace will receive their degrees at the graduation ceremony for the A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program class of 2018 on Monday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco).
Signature Extends Dominique Morisseau's PARADISE BLUE

The Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Harold Wolpert, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Paradise Blue by Obie Award-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau and directed by Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson has been extended one week, the company announced today. The production, which opens on May 14, will now run through June 10, 2018.

The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 19 categories for the 33rd Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Lortel Awards will be presented on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00 PM EST. This year's event will be hosted by actors Laura Benanti and Jason Jones and will once again serve as a benefit for The Actors Fund.

Casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Harold Wolpert, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Our Lady of 121st Street, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Tony Award-winner Phylicia Rashad. This is the second production of Guirgis' Signature residency, which began last fall with the critically-acclaimed, extended production of Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, directed by Mark Brokaw. Tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; James Houghton, Founder) New York City premiere production of Paradise Blue, by Obie Award-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau (Skeleton Crew, Pipeline) and directed by Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson (The Piano Lesson, Jitney).
