Lachat Farm, produces the world premiere of Hole in the Wall, a comedy written by Richard Rogers-Award winning playwright Jeff Hughes, directed by Christopher Denham, the multi-talented actor-writer-director whose screen credits famously include Oppenheimer, Argo, Shutter Island, and Billions.

The Braid opens its 2026 season with Do The Right Thing, a new Salon Theatre production examining moral choices through true stories rooted in Jewish ethics. The world premiere begins January 20, 2026, in Santa Monica, followed by Los Angeles, Bay Area, and live Zoom performances. The production features five actors performing curated first-person stories.

The brilliance of the script is that, although first written in the 1950s, it still has so much relevance to our world today. The audience at the performance I saw was one of the most robust, vocally supportive and emotional audiences I have ever seen. 

Marlene Warfield, the American actress renowned for her roles in Network, Maude, and The Great White Hope, passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 83.
