Gerard Canonico (Be More Chill), Jessie Hooker-Bailey (Waitress), Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, In the Heights), Andrew Kober (She Loves Me, Hair), Shereen Pimentel (West Side Story), Presley Ryan (Beetlejuice), Caesar Samayoa (Come From Away), Carrie St. Louis (Wicked), and Dani Wade (Mean Girls) join the cast also featuring Louderman, Hannah Kloepfer, Matt Copley, and Stephen Coakley. 

Back to Broadway at The Argyle Theatre! 5 Broadway Stars: One Unforgettable Evening!

The Argyle's re-opening season kicks off after Cabaret with Elf The Musical this Holiday Season (November 11, 2021 - January 2, 2022). January 2022 brings the World Premiere of the new Joe Iconis & Rob Rokicki musical Punk Rock Girl! (January 20, 2022 - February 27, 2022). The hit musical Mamma Mia runs this spring (March 17, 2022 - May 1, 2022), followed by rock & roll musical Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (May 19, 2022 - June 26, 2022). Footloose runs through the summer of 2022 (July 14, 2022 - August 28, 2022). The season closes out with the film & broadway classic An American in Paris (September 15, 2022 - October 23, 2022).

Telly Leung, Michael James Scott, Nancy Opel and More Join SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD in Radial Park

Last seen in the title role of Aladdin, Telly Leung (he/him) lends his talents to “The World Was Dancing” for the evening. Another Aladdin alum, Michael James Scott (he/him) will take on the soaring, penultimate number “Flying Home” before returning to the New Amsterdam this fall. Following her recent turn in the Broadway company of Wicked, Tony nominee Nancy Opel (she/her) will show off her comedic chops in “Just One Step,” while Bre Jackson (The Color Purple, The Book of Mormon; she/her) gives voice to “The Flagmaker, 1775.”

Earlier this week, stars showed up at the Majestic Theatre for the first red carpet since the Broadway shutdown over 16 months ago. The occasion was the celebrate the premiere of theater director Sammi Cannold, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Dori Berinstein, WYSIWYG Studios, CEO Kwan-Woo Park and Elizabeth Armstrong's new documentary film, The Show Must Go On. The special event featured performances by Josh Groban, Sierra Boggess, Adrienne Warren, Ariana DeBose, Shereen Pimentel, Ali Ewoldt.

Eli Bolin, whose music has become the stuff of cult legend, returns to Feinstein's/54 Below for the first time in 3 years with an action-packed show featuring songs from across his entire catalogue. There'll be deep cuts, pesky earworms, songs from cool TV stuff and podcasts (including never-before-heard cut songs from ...the Sack Lunch Bunch), new songs from new shows, less new songs from less new shows, and a partridge in a pear tree.

The new documentary film, The Show Must Go On, premiered last night in front of a live audience at Broadway’s Majestic Theatre, home of The Phantom of the Opera, the longest running show in Broadway history, to benefit and celebrate the work of The Actors Fund. Radial Park opened its latest cinemersive experience last night with the iconic, blockbuster, fan-favorite film, The Blues Brothers! The Blues Brothers, features a live band and theatrical performances seamless timed in-sync with the movie in a one-of-a-kind hybrid mashup. The Blues Brothers, is directed by Kristine Bendul and Waldemar QuinonesVillanueva, and features a cast that includes Broadway's Charity Angel Dawson, Nick Rashad Burroughs, F. Michael Haynie, Brian Charles Johnson, and Antoine L. Smith, along with Ladonna Burns and Anne Fraser Thomas.

Just last night, the Drama Company NYC celebrated the opening of the Off-Broadway premiere of Lilies, or The Revival of a Romantic Drama written by Michel Marc Bouchard with English translation by Linda Gaboriau, and direction by Andrew Benvenuti. Lilies - fully staged for the first time in New York City - is presented at The Theater Center (50th & Broadway) with an all-male cast of 11 actors.
