The Write Out Loud Team have announced the winners of the 2025 Write Out Loud Contest. These songs were selected from a pool of over 400 submissions after an extensive review process.

The musical tells the story of “Widow Clack, 18 and pregnant, who lives an exiled life running a lighthouse with her brother on a storm-crushed island set to be uninhabited in two days.
