OKC Broadway presents MEAN GIRLS now through January 2nd. Tina Fey's 2004 sleeper hit movie became a Broadway musical in 2018, and launched a national tour prior to the COVID pandemic in 2019. The live adaptation has fun choreography and a rocking score. The cast of professionals rock out in Broadway style on the Civic Center Stage.

Reprising their roles from the 2019-2020 season are Danielle Wade as Cady Heron, Megan Masako Haley as Gretchen Wieners, Jonalyn Saxer as Karen Smith, Mary Kate Morrissey as Janis Sarkisian, Eric Huffman as Damian Hubbard, Adante Carter as Aaron Samuels, Kabir Bery as Kevin G. and Lawrence E. In summer, I enjoy everything I watch more because as students school's out and we have at least one month without worrying about a thing, so if I watch a really great movie probably later I'll be painting something or discovering new artists because of the soundtrack or reading the novel that inspired what I saw.
