Riverside Theatre Presents An Evening with Brian d'Arcy James

Riverside Theatre welcomes Broadway star Brian d'Arcy James as part of its annual Supper Club Event. Part of Riverside's Friends Committee events, An Evening with Brian d'Arcy James takes place on Monday, February 13, 2017 starting at 6pm with cocktails followed by dinner and then the performance by Mr. d'Arcy James. Chair for the event is Rosemary Haverland.

Burn Book on Broadway? MEAN GIRLS Musical Will Premiere in D.C. Next Fall

Confirming earlier rumors (that's why her hair is so big - it's full of secrets!), the new MEAN GIRLS musical will be making its World Premiere at the National Theater in Washington, D.C. in Fall 2017. A spokesperson for the show just confirmed the timeline and venue to The New York Times.

MEAN GIRLS Musical Coming to DC Next Fall!

Fans have been eagerly anticipating a MEAN GIRLS musical, which has been in development for several years. At the 10th Anniversary celebration of the comedy film, Fey and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, said they were hoping MEAN GIRLS will hit the stage in time for -- or ahead of -- its 15th anniversary, which will be in 2019. It looks like that might happen, because a new, verified Mean Girls Twitter account has just announced some big news:

To honor his legacy, Museum of the Moving Image will present The Master: Philip Seymour Hoffman from September 16 through October 2, a retrospective featuring sixteen films, including his directorial debut Jack Goes Boating; Capote, for which he won an Academy Award for Leading Actor; and The Master, Magnolia, and Boogie Nights- three films he made with Paul Thomas Anderson.
