The members of the Community Outreach Committee of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) have announced the recipients of the ARTS Scholarships 2023 program, made possible by the generosity of Textron Charitable Trust and PPAC's Annual Fund Donors with support from the Ocean State Charities Trust.

In anticipation of upcoming record, Mellencamp is sharing the album track “Hey God.” His twenty fifth album produced by Mellencamp and recorded as his own Belmont Mall Studio. One of his most personal records to date, standout tracks “Hey God” and “The Eyes of Portland” focus on social issues Mellencamp continues to passionately advocate for.

Round Room Live and Moonbug Entertainment have announced that a new live show, Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour, will again bring the vivacious, energetic, and educational antics of global sensation Blippi to stages across North America, with a stop at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC)  on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2P.   

The Providence Performing Arts Center has announced that President and CEO J.L. “Lynn” Singleton has been selected for induction into the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame. Singleton and eight other distinguished Rhode Island leaders will be honored as Hall of Fame inductees at a ceremony on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Pavilion in Warwick.

Divorced, Beheaded, Died; Divorced, Beheaded, Survived–this handy little rhyme is likely what most Americans know best about the six wives of Henry VIII.  Maybe if you were a devotee of the show The Tudors you know a bit more about Catherine of Aragon or Anne Boleyn, but after that, things get a bit murky (so many Catherines!). The musical SIX gives these women the chance to tell their own stories, and shed some light on the circumstances of their lives and deaths.  Though the musical deals with heavy topics like infidelity, miscarriage, death by execution, etc., the six wives are generally pretty frank about their situations.  Dramatic history plus catchy songs equals a fantastically fun night of theatre; giving the lesser-known wives a chance to remind us that they were more than just a number.

GREG GUTFELD, host of the #1 rated late night show GUTFELD!, returns to the stage this summer in support of his newest book The King of Late Night (release date: July 25).  Greg Gutfeld brings GUTFELD LIVE! KING OF LATE NIGHT TOUR to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 7P. Greg will be joined by special guest comedian Tom Shillue as moderator and opening act. 

VAN MORRISON returns to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for two shows on Thursday, May 11 and Friday, May 12, 2023 at 7P. He last performed at PPAC in December 2007 to a sold-out crowd.
