Providence Performing Arts Center has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2025/2026 Ocean State Star Awards (OSSA) Showcase, which will take place on Sunday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m. on the PPAC stage.

Registration is now open for  The Providence Performing Arts Center's 2026 summer musical theatre intensives. How To Be A Part of the Cast: Cast members must apply for admission into the program. An audition or recording may be requested.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, An Intimate Evening with David Foster and Katharine McPhee at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) has been cancelled.

The Providence Performing Arts Center will present CLUE for a limited engagement this January as part of the 2025–2026 Encore Series. The stage adaptation, inspired by the 1985 film and the classic Hasbro board game, brings its comedic whodunit to Rhode Island for a three-performance run.

Providence Performing Arts Center presents “Water for Elephants,” a moving, spectacular musical based on Sara Gruen’s bestselling historical romance novel and the 2011 movie adaptation starring Reese Witherspoon. With music and lyrics by Pig Pen Theatre Co. and book by Rick Elice, “Water for Elephants” debuted on Broadway in 2024 and was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The Providence Performing Arts Center will participate in the annual Toys for Tots campaign beginning November 29, inviting audiences to donate new, unwrapped toys during select performances.

Long-time President and CEO J.L. “Lynn” Singleton will leave that position and as of January 1, 2026, General Manager Alan J. Chille will take the helm as President and CEO of PPAC.

“Weird Al” Yankovic will bring his BIGGER & WEIRDER 2026 Tour to the Providence Performing Arts Center on July 14 at 7:30 p.m. The tour will visit 90 cities across North America.
