In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the James Bond film series and the 25th Anniversary of BAFTA Los Angeles, the organization has partnered with American Cinematheque to present a complete retrospective screening series of every official James Bond 007 film, beginning with Dr. No and From Russia With Love tonight, June 8, 2012 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rooney Mara has joined the cast of the big-screen adaptation of Colm Toibins' BROOKLYN. The film will be based on the best-selling novel by author and screenwriter Nick Hornby. The actress will join previously announced cast members Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette and Emile Hirschcast.

Animal Planet today announced that it has licensed the network television premieres of Disneynature's OCEANS, AFRICAN CATS and THE CRIMSON WING: MYSTERY OF THE FLAMINGOS from Disney-ABC Domestic Television. The network will premiere OCEANS in third quarter of 2012, followed by THE CRIMSON WING: MYSTERY OF THE FLAMINGOS in fourth quarter of 2012 and AFRICAN CATS in third quarter of 2013.

According to The Daily News, actor Daniel Craig is being offered the opportunity to do five additional James Bond films after he has completed filming his current Bond epic. If Craig accepts the reported multi-million dollar offer, it would bring his total number of Bond flicks to eight and make him the longest running 007 of all time.
