The Wharf Revue will be returning to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Playhouse from 11 to 16 February 2025 for its last show – ever!

THE WHARF REVUE has announced its final performance, marking the end of an era for the beloved satirical show.

Due to huge critical and audience acclaim, The Wharf Revue: Pride in Prejudice has been extended for a further week to 23 December. No further extension is possible.

The marvelous minds behind THE WHARF REVUE: PRIDE IN PREJUDICE have created another clever commentary on Australian and global politics.

The Wharf Revue is back for another year of sensational value, opening on Wednesday 8 November at the York Theatre, Seymour Centre!

Queensland Performing Arts Centre has announced that The Wharf Revue: Looking for Albanese is set to pack the Playhouse with side-splitting political punch and puns from 21 to 25 February 2023. 

It’s all hands on deck for a daring adventure as they navigate the dire Straits of COVID, sail round the treacherous Horn of Scomo, steer well clear of the empty Cape of Pauline, only to be becalmed in the Nationals Bermuda Jacket Triangle before stumbling across a New World, filled with hope and promise! Or not. 

The iconic trio of Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Phillip Scott are back with political sketches, songs and satire in The Wharf Revue: Can of Worms, playing the Glen Street Theatre from 22 March to 3 April 2022.

The much-loved Wharf Revue returns in its new annual iteration titled CAN OF WORMS, playing at The Seymour Centre from 23 November and produced by Soft Tread, the company that brought you Jonathan Biggins' smash hit The Gospel According to Paul.

Due to popular demand and reduced audience capacities, Sydney Theatre Company will be transferring its final season of The Wharf Revue: Good Night and Good Luck to Sydney's Seymour Centre for an additional month of performances from March 24 to April 24.

After delivering 20 years of fabulously clever comedy THE WHARF REVUE team sign off with their farewell tour THE WHARF REVUE: GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK.

Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Kip Williams today unveiled Act 1, the first five plays of the 2021 season with the remaining two thirds of the season to be announced in March. To celebrate the company's return to its newly renovated home at The Wharf, Williams will direct a new adaptation by Kate Mulvany of Ruth Park's classic Sydney story, Playing Beatie Bow. The 2021 season will also feature the Australian premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' dark comedy, Appropriate directed by Wesley Enoch at Roslyn Packer Theatre and three plays rescheduled from the 2020 season: Home, I'm Darling, Fun Home and The Wharf Revue: Goodnight and Good Luck.
