La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club has announced the lineup for the 21st annual La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival. La MaMa Moves! runs from April 9 through May 10, 2026.

La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club will present the 21st annual La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival. The festival, curated by Nicky Paraiso, features twelve productions across four venues, highlighting a blend of emerging and established dance artists.

Dixon Place, longtime home for innovative dance artists and work, proudly hosts this year's Bessie Awards. In addition to award categories: Outstanding Choreographer/Creator, Outstanding Performer, Outstanding Revival, Outstanding Sound Design or Music Composition, Outstanding Visual Design, Outstanding Breakout Choreographer, the Lifetime Achievement and Outstanding Service to the Field of Dance was presented for years 2024 and 2025.

This year's Bessie Awards ceremony will be held on Friday, August 4, at 7:30pm, at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park as part of Lincoln Center's Summer for the City. The event is free and open to the public.
