Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead is getting a major revival in Canada in the new theatre season.

Miami’s sassiest seniors will take Seattle by storm this holiday season with Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue, presented by Marty & Peter Present and Seattle Theatre Group as part of STG’s 2023/24 Performing Arts Series.

This year Seattle Theatre Group (STG) marks the 25th anniversary of DANCE This, its signature dance program that brings together youth and adult performers from diverse communities to collaborate and share their culture through the art of dance.

At a press conference held at Meridian Hall, the Toronto Alliance for the  Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 228 nominations for the 43rd Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards, which recognize excellence in professional theatre, dance and opera in Toronto for the 2022-2023 season. Also announced at the press conference was the recipient of the Province of Ontario’s Pauline McGibbon Award.

Premera Blue Cross Broadway at The Paramount has announced that the electrifying Tony Award-Winning new musical phenomenon SIX by Tony Award-Winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss is coming to Seattle's The Paramount Theatre from Wednesday July 12 through Sunday, July 23.

The artists and mentors that will anchor the third annual ELEVATE, Seattle Theatre Group's (STG) showcase of Black and Brown youth voices uplifting one another through the art of spoken word, have been announced. This year's performers are Grace Hanson, Harlem Naché Yarbrough, Jazzmin Barrett, Joshua Rhodes, Laela Johnson, Maya Michelle Russell, Mikayla Sullivan, Yaasameen Waqo, Zion Montgomery, and Elijah Mbute.

Following nine captivating productions, and a year of uninterrupted live theatre, the Grand Theatre closes its 2022/23 season on a celebratory note with Neptune Theatre’s East Coast Kitchen Party from April 18th through May 7th.

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents the internationally acclaimed Berlin-based pianist, composer, and producer Nils Frahm for one night only on Thursday, April 27 at 8:00 PM at the Paramount Theatre. This event is part of STG's 2022/23 Performing Arts Season.

Centaur Theatre presents Steve Galluccio's newest work, AT THE BEGINNING OF TIME, directed by Peter Hinton-Davis. Galluccio's most personal play since Mambo Italiano, AT THE BEGINNING OF TIME is an autobiographical tale of an Italian-Canadian gay man approaching 60, who believes he has settled into life, only to be confronted with the reality of having to reimagine everything he once knew.

The inspirational, true story of Canadian Civil Rights hero, Viola Desmond comes to life on the Grand Theatre’s Spriet Stage at the Ontario premiere of Controlled Damage – by London playwright Andrea Scott. The acclaimed production, playing January 17th through January 29th, is directed by Ray Hogg and stars Beck Lloyd as Viola Desmond.

Singer, songwriter, and High School Musical: the Musical: the Series star Joshua Bassett announces The Complicated Tour, his 2023 run in North America and Europe. The North American leg, produced by Live Nation and supported by Lindsey Lomis, kicks off at The Fillmore in San Francisco on March 7, then through the continent before heading overseas.

Seattle Theater Group (STG), along with Music Director Jack Klitzman, has announced the inaugural performance of the Seattle Pops Orchestra, performing the iconic music of John Williams, March 25, 2023, at the Paramount Theatre.

Forever Plaid is an Off-Broadway Musical Revue that was first performed in 1989 in New York, and was written by Stuart Ross. Now the show is performed Internationally. The show itself featured Stan Chandler, Guy Stroman, Gabriel Barre, and Jason Graae in the 1989 New York Cast. While James Raitt was responsible for the Musical arrangement, vocal arrangements and music direction, the show was Directed and Choreographed by its writer Stuart Ross. The Musical Revue was produced into a feature film, which was released in 2009 starring two of the original cast members (Chandler, and Engel)and Larry Raben and Daniel Reichard as Sparky and Frankie respectively. Fans of the show will notice that in the film adaptation, “The Golden Cardigan,” and “Catch a Falling Star,” were omitted.
