The release of the album is accompanied by a new music video for album closer-track “Quiet Love,” an intimate song about wanting to have a love back, but it being completely out of your hands. The song follows previously released title-track “Laundry Pile” and summer Americana-tinged singalong “Skin.”

Free Throw has released a new single out now called “Thanks For Asking”, taken from their upcoming album ‘Lessons That We Swear to Keep’, via Wax Bodega. The band announced the album last month and released the lead single and music video for “Spacer’s Choice”.

Devendra Banhart has released “Fireflies,” the newest track taken from his upcoming album Flying Wig. The accompanying visualizer features Anthony Ivancich and Julia Crockett - two pillars of the Stud Country Queer Country Western Dancing community - two stepping through Los Angeles' Club Bahia as Devendra and Mel Shimkavitz look on.

Indigo De Souza appears on the latest edition of NPR’s Tiny Desk. During the session she performs songs from her recently released album, All of This Will End, including tracks like the gorgeous ballad “Younger and Dumber” and “The Water.” All of This Will End was released earlier this year. Devendra Banhart has released a new song, “Nun.” Banhart recently announced openers for his world tour in the fall, including Hayden Pedigo, Le Ren, Miho Hatori, Soma,  John Moods, Rogov, and - following an epic performance at the Hollywood Bowl in support of Carla Morrison - has announced his own headline West Coast shows in December.

Mannequin Pussy release their ferocious new single “I Got Heaven,” with a haunting video directed by Mason Mercer and Anthony Miralles. The song, produced by John Congleton, is the first taste of new music by the band, with more on the way soon. Mannequin Pussy is Colins “Bear” Regisford, Kaleen Reading, Maxine Steen and Marisa Dabice.

Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead is getting a major revival in Canada in the new theatre season.

There’s been no shortage of new music from Arkells over the last few years, having released their Blink Once and Blink Twice projects, featuring collaborations with the likes of Cold War Kids, K.Flay, Tegan and Sara, Aly & AJ and Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers, ahead of the introduction to brand new album, Laundry Pile, due this fall.

The accompanying music video is set in a dystopian society of Devendra’s creation and stars Devendra alongside multidisciplinary artist Dorian Wood as well as comedians Tim Heidecker and Mitra Jouhari. Support artists for his upcoming US/EU tour were revealed earlier this week. The tour starts October 1st in Iowa City.

Bahamas, a.k.a. Afie Jurvanen, has announced a fall US tour. The tour will find the award-winning Canadian singer/songwriter/guitarist performing 32 shows in 29 days, starting on September 21st in Nashville during the 2023 AmericanaFest, following Bahamas’ debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry on September 20th.

'Kalk Gidelim' (remixed by the band’s percussionist Chris Bruining) is a cumbia-driven remix, inspired by Argentina's cumbia villera movement, while 'Su Sızıyor' (remixed by Bruining in tandem with Altin Gün bassist Jasper Verhulst) is a digidub-style remix with lots of King Tubby-inspired reverbs and phasers.

The songs on In The End It Always Does highlight heartbreak and love lost, emotional reflections on childhood trauma and identity, and the album finds The Japanese House embracing her pop-side with help from Matty Healy and George Daniel (The 1975), Katie Gavin (MUNA) and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon among others.

Miami’s sassiest seniors will take Seattle by storm this holiday season with Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue, presented by Marty & Peter Present and Seattle Theatre Group as part of STG’s 2023/24 Performing Arts Series.
