Seattle Theatre Group's THING Postponed Until August 27-29, 2021

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) and Adam Zacksa?"STG's Chief Programming Officer and founder of the acclaimed Sasquatch! Festivala?"have made the difficult decision to postpone THING, their new multidisciplinary event located at Fort Worden in scenic Port Townsend, WA. Following a sold-out inaugural year in 2019, THING is slated to return August 27-29, 2021.

Allen MacInnis, Young People's Theatre Artistic Director, To Retire After 19 Seasons

Allen MacInnis has announced that he will step down as Artistic Director of Toronto's Young People's Theatre (YPT) at the end of the 2020.21 season, after 19 outstanding years. He is the longest-serving Artistic Director in the theatre's 54-year history as North America's oldest a?" and Canada's largest a?" professional producer and presenter of theatre for young audiences.

Stages Theatre Festival Comes to Scotiabank Stage

The 26th annual Stages Theatre Festival will introduce Halifax audiences to many new and exciting scripts by playwrights from Atlantic Canada and beyond. Beginning May 28 from the comfort of the Scotiabank Stage, audiences will be offered the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of programming which will include new plays by local writers, musicals in various stages of development, and touring productions from outside the province. Isaac Mizrahi returns to Cafe Carlyle for three special performances titled Isaac & on June 10, June 17, and June 24. Isaac's previous three residencies in the room were sellouts, receiving widespread critical acclaim. Daniel Norgren Comes To The Fox Theatre

Acclaimed Swedish songwriter Daniel Norgren has announced an upcoming North American Tour, in support of the new release Wooh Dang, out earlier this month on his own Superpuma Records. The tour will see Daniel and his band returning to Chicago, New York, Boston, Toronto, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles. As well as first-time stops in Louisville, Asheville, Nashville, Washington, D.C., Boulder, and at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion in Tennessee/Virginia. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3rd at 10am local time.
