Forever Plaid is an Off-Broadway Musical Revue that was first performed in 1989 in New York, and was written by Stuart Ross. Now the show is performed Internationally. The show itself featured Stan Chandler, Guy Stroman, Gabriel Barre, and Jason Graae in the 1989 New York Cast. While James Raitt was responsible for the Musical arrangement, vocal arrangements and music direction, the show was Directed and Choreographed by its writer Stuart Ross. The Musical Revue was produced into a feature film, which was released in 2009 starring two of the original cast members (Chandler, and Engel)and Larry Raben and Daniel Reichard as Sparky and Frankie respectively. Fans of the show will notice that in the film adaptation, “The Golden Cardigan,” and “Catch a Falling Star,” were omitted.

Margaret Cho - the five-time Grammy and Emmy nominated comedian/actress has announced she will tour the country with her brand new Live and LIVID! tour. The Live and LIVID! tour will hit theaters across North America with tickets on-sale Friday, December 9.

The single follows Gatie’s WHO HURT YOU? DELUXE LP which has racked up 1.5 billion global streams. Among its expanded tracklist, WHO HURT YOU? includes the standout track “The Look” feat. Kehlani as well as effervescent remixes by Dutch producers R3HAB and Albert Harvey on “MMM” and “I’ll Be there For You.” 

New Found Glory have announced the Make The Most Of It Acoustic Tour. The tour kicks off in January in St. Louis, MO, and makes stops across the country at unique, primarily seated venues before concluding in March in Miami Beach, FL, with special guest Leanna Firestone making appearances at all dates as well.

Acclaimed indie pop band Lucius is nominated in three  categories at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards for their collaborations with Brandi Carlile: Album of the Year (In These Silent Days), Record of the Year (“You and Me on the Rock”) and Best Americana Performance (“You and Me on the Rock”).

Singer songwriter Abraham Alexander is releasing “Heart of Gold,” his second song for Dualtone Records, following the single “Stay” featuring Gary Clark Jr. which came out in September. The process of filming the music video turned out to be quite emotional for Alexander, who worked with director Grant Claire.

Their fifth full-length, Love Songs for Losers finds the beloved Nashville-by-way-of-Brooklyn trio striking out on their own for the first time and self-producing, a departure from their previous work with elite producers like Aaron Dessner (The National) and Dave Cobb. The song was written by Lucius (Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe) and Jillian Jacqueline. “Muse” is the first new music from Lucius following their acclaimed new record, Second Nature. The tour kicks off in Copenhagen on January 21st with support from Tommy Raps on a run of European and UK dates. Kimbra makes her way back to North America on February 9th with a show in Nashville alongside Tei Shi, traveling to major cities including New York at Webster Hall and Los Angeles at The Fonda Theatre.

Rising star Sierra Ferrell has announced plans for a headline tour of the US next spring. This run of dates will commence on March 2 in St. Louis and will include stops in Chicago, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Denver, Santa Fe, Phoenix, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. The innovative, multi-platinum Canadian duo Tegan and Sara have released Crybaby, their tenth studio album and first release with label Mom+Pop Music. The album release follows the debut of High School, the original coming-of-age series co-created and executive produced by Tegan and Sara Quin and Clea DuVall.

Highlights include stops at such historic venues as Nashville, TN’s Ryman Auditorium (March 4, 2023), New York City’s Beacon Theatre (March 18, 2023), and San Francisco, CA’s The Fillmore (April 26), as well as a special two-night stand at the world- famous Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA (April 27-28, 2023).

Nashville-based trio The Lone Bellow released their new single “Unicorn.” The latest track to release from their forthcoming album Love Songs for Losers (out soon through Dualtone Music Group), “Unicorn” unfolds with a cascade of heavenly melodies as lead singer Zach Williams offers up an unabashed outpouring of affection.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter-pianist Neal Francis has shared his emotionally charged and soulful new single, “Don’t Want You To Know,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services. Produced in Los Angeles by longtime collaborator Sergio Rios, the emotionally charged track heralds the Chicago-based artist’s upcoming new EP, Sentimental Garbage.

Jess Williamson and Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield’s one time collaborative project Plains share a dreamy Aidy Bryant-directed video for the final single from their anticipated album I Walked With You A Ways. Plains are hitting the road on a full US tour with support from MJ Lenderman next week. Watch the new music video now!

A new piano-centered version of Lucius’ song, “The Man I’ll Never Find,” has debuted. Produced by Dave Cobb and Brandi Carlile, Second Nature is a portrait of Laessig and Wolfe’s shared reflection, chronicling each other’s seismic life shifts—motherhood, divorce, unplanned career pauses—and setting it to music.

The Epstein Theatre will present The Wizard Of Oz from Friday 21 October to Sunday 30 October 2022. The stunning show promises to be packed with fantastic performances, fabulous costumes, and lots of laughs. The panto is directed by Olivia Sloyan.

Last month Martin announced the deluxe edition of Imaginary People which features 4 alternate piano versions of songs from the 2021 album. Imaginary People Deluxe Edition is out this Friday via Grand Jury. The deluxe edition will be available for purchase on CD & cassette on Friday, while standard vinyl versions of the album are available now.

Legends, laughter, and love take center stage in STG's 2022/23 Silent Movie Mondays series. Audiences will be treated to films from the 1920s and earlier, including Go West on Nov. 21, It on Feb. 13, Exit Smiling on May 8, and Comedy Shorts on July 31.
