Chelsea Table + Stage has announced tickets for its new Valentine's Day show, SO THIS IS LOVE, a Valentine's Day Cabaret With Mikayla Petrilla on February 11th, 2023 at 7pm.

Broadway’s best banded together for one night only to raise spirits and funds for Planned Parenthood in a special evening of music that aims to empower, inspire, and uplift. Featuring chart-topping hits by women for women, audiences heard a star-studded Broadway cast cover the music of Ragtime, Jekyll and Hyde, Lesley Gore, Janis Joplin, ABBA, Stephen Sondheim, Ben Platt, Brandi Carlile, and much, much more. The show is hosted by Mikayla Petrilla and features the talents of Taylor Iman Jones, Tramell Tillman, Sarah Steele, T. Oliver Reid, and more.

Chelsea Table and Stage will present THE VIOLET HOUR: A Planned Parenthood Benefit Concert, on Wednesday September 28th at 9:30pm. This 60 minute concert features the talents of Broadway performers and notable Pop/Rock Musicians and will raise funds and awareness for affordable and accessible reproductive healthcare.

Midtown Staxx will play Rockwood Music Hall Stage One on Thursday July 28th at 8pm. Midtown as in Manhattan...Staxx as in Memphis soul. Midtown Staxx is Lisa McQuade and Matthew Doers.

On Friday, April 22, 2022, I had the pleasure of seeing another phenomenal production at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, CT.   I have been looking forward to SPIRIT OF THE SIXTIES since I first heard of it, and even more when I found out that it has the same stellar cast as their previous Decades in Concert production, The Sounds of the Seventies.  Robert Peterpaul, Mikayla Petrilla, Everton Ricketts, and Saige Bryan yet again showcase their collective first-rate talents as individuals and as a cohesive group, singing and dancing under the excellent direction and choreography of Jennifer Kaye, and accompanied by pre-recorded instrumentation.   Phill Hill’s clever writing shines through on this amazing selection of about fifty songs from a decade that many would regard as the greatest decade of music in music history!   It is clear that the cast is having as wonderful a time performing on stage as the audience is watching them perform!

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre ipresents their all-new musical Decades in Concert: Spirit of the 60s. The production opens Friday, April 22nd and runs through May 15th at Connecticut's most historic Cabaret Theatre. The Downtown Cabaret in partnership with Family Entertainment Live presents this second installment of their  original Decades in Concert series, Spirit of the Sixties. 

Everything’s a Six Productions is currently staging their inaugural production of SHINING CITY  by Conor McPherson, which is playing at The Paradise Factory for a limited run. The show opened on March 17th and plays until April 10th. 

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre is well into rehearsals for their all-new musical Decades in Concert: Spirit of the 60s. The production opens Friday, April 15th and runs through May 15th at Connecticut's most historic Cabaret Theatre.
