The Broadway Women's Fund has just released its third annual list of Women to Watch on Broadway.

hese prestigious grants, given to promising female musical theater composers, are presented in partnership with New York Stage and Film. Past recipients of the Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award include the composers Masi Asare, Julianne Wick Davis, Anna K. Jacobs, Rona Sidiqqui and Shaina Taub.

Since George Washington took office in 1783, writing letters to the President has provided citizens of all ages, races, political parties, and backgrounds an outlet to express their most personal concerns, hopes, and dreams. Letters to the President reimagines this archival canon of letters as a multi-composer song cycle, with each song inspired by an individual letter in the archive.

An industry reading of WINGS will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 3 PM and Friday, May 10th at 11 AM in New York City. WINGS is a new musical with Book, Music, and Lyrics by Danny K Bernstein.

On Monday, March 4th, The York Theatre Company in New York City held its 2019 NEO13: A Concert Celebration. The one-night only musical theatre concert series founded in 2003 and stands for 'New, Emerging, Outstanding,' showcased the work of several emerging writers.
