Composers Concordance, founded in 1984, is celebrating its 40th season with a four-concert festival all about reaching this amazing milestone.

On Sunday, March 17th at 5pm at St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery, Composers Concordance will present a program entitled 'Dance & Stories.'

On March 2nd at 7pm, Composers Concordance presents Music & Film @ Westbeth, an event combining cutting-edge short films with contemporary music composition.

On February 3rd at 6:30pm at The Delancey, Composers Concordance presents Violins & Poems 'War'. A concert where violinists & poets meet to explore the subject of war.

Missing Link is an ensemble and multi-dimensional project, striving to rebuild the bond between performers and composers, and between audiences and contemporary music. Their program features works by Lynn Bechtold, Dan Cooper, Emiliano Revert, Gene Pritsker, Iván Enrique Rodriguez, & Gabi Yaya.

Miolina returns to The Skyscraper Museum with their program 'Castles & Cathedrals' featuring works inspired by these architectural marvels. Join them on October 27 for a free concert. Find out how to get tickets here!

Violin duo Miolina is excited to present the first ever Duologue Festival, celebrating NYC's best duos. The festival runs Thursday and Friday evenings, September 28-29, 2023, at 7PM.

Violin duo Miolina (Mioi Takeda & Lynn Bechtold, violins) presents 'Just Above the Trees,' a one-hour, exploratory concert inspired by the great heights of New York City's skyscrapers, old and new.

On March 8th at 7:30pm, Composers Concordance will present Generations XII, the 12th annual concert featuring the winners of the Generations Composition Competition. This year's winners are Paul Novak of Chicago (Cat A: 25 years old or younger) for his composition Three Night Pieces, and Lee McClure of New York City (Cat B: 65 years old or older) for his composition Pocket Suite No.1.

On Friday, December 2nd at 8pm at Greenwich House, Composers Concordance will present a concert program that propels an age-old compositional form into the 21st Century.

'And the Things I Draw Come True' - Described as displaying 'brilliance of sound, technical mastery, and stunning expressivity' (I Care If You Listen), violin duo MIOLINA officially commences their 10th anniversary season with a program of works inspired by words and drawings.

On October 14th at 7pm at Gallery MC, Composers Concordance will present a Live concert of the podcast 'Composers With Drinks Listening To Music'.  Hosts Gene Pritsker and Seth Boustead discuss a featured alcohol, listen to music centered around a theme, and talk about the sounds they hear as the alcohol loosens their inhibitions.

Legendary experimental flutist Robert Dick will return toNYsoundCircuit on Sunday, April 2, 2022 to perform the New York premiere of his Concerto for Flute/Bass Flute, Strings, and Percussion with Resonant Refractions and members of theCompCord Ensemble.

On March 4th, 2022, Miolina collaborates with choreographer/dancer Yukari Osaka, and her dance company ENTERART, as well as with Kendo Sensei Noboru Kataoka (Kendo 7th Dan), founder and director of the New York City Kendo Club.

MIOLINA will perform 'Tweet, Tweet,' a program of works for violin duo, many about birds and songs, by composers from around the world. They will be premiering Hesam Abedini's Ghazaliyât No. 1, and Isaac Otto's Nycticorax.

On Sunday, May 2nd 2021, Composers Concordance will focus on two composers, Mark Kostabi and Gene Pritsker, in a concert of their works for Piano Quintet, featuring Quartet Metadata with pianists Mark Kostabi and Jai Jeffryes.

Composers Concordance will present O Haiku My Haiku, the 4th concert of its Comp/Lit festival, on Wednesday, April 21 at 7pm EDT at Kostabi World in Manhattan. Recitations of Haiku and other short-form poetry are accompanied by an array of instruments from around the globe, including the Russian Domra, Japanese Hichiriki, and Middle Eastern Ney.
