The first of The Sheepdogs’ U.S. headlining tour is on September 20th at Burlington, Vermont’s legendary Higher Ground. The road dogs will be throughout the Northeast, Southeast, Texas, and the Midwest in October and November before starting their westerly jaunt in Seattle on December 3rd.

Canada’s Preoccupations have released their fourth studio LP, Arrangements. The album begins with the pounding metallic slash of guitar strings of “Fix Bayonets!”. Midwestern artist Lissie is a multi-talented tour de force who will release her new Americana-tinged indie folk album Carving Canyons. Lissie appeared in the TV shows Twin Peaks & Loudermilk. She co-owns a pop music genre themed popcorn company Otts Pops Indie Pop as well as living on, managing & conserving 45 acres in NE Iowa.

Whitmer Thomas announces his new album, The Older I Get The Funnier I Was with a video for lead single “Rigamarole.” The track features contributions from the album’s producer Melina Duterte (Jay Som), Al Menne (Great Grandpa), Christian Lee Hutson, and Harrison Whitford (Phoebe Bridgers). Sad Night Dynamite continue to rise as one of the UK’s most exciting and unusual breakout bands. Japanese free music provocateur Keiji Haino and expressionist metal trio SUMAC have announced their new collaborative album Into This Juvenile Apocalypse Our Golden Blood to Pour Let Us Never. Returning to the road in 2022, The Greeting Committee will embark on an extensive North American headline tour this Fall. It kicks off on November 6 at Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, CO, makes stops in major cities coast-to-coast, and concludes on December 11 at Aisle 5 in Atlanta, GA. Support acts for the five-week jaunt will be revealed soon.

The second single off of Canada’s Preoccupations forthcoming fourth studio LP Arrangements, “Death of Melody” throws you inside a tumbling, six sided reverb tank filled with shape-shifting shoegaze haze. The namesake behind the new album is The Spanish Villager: a mysterious man with a potent message who has proven to be a versatile guy: he’s the subject of a short story Ondara wrote. Chamber Music Northwest is just finishing its second week of their five-week festival, with 15 more concerts and dozens of free public events left to experience. Continuing through July 31, the 2022 Summer Festival features programming across the Portland-metro area.

Tommy Newport is known for his irresistible falsetto-steeped indie anthems, garnering a substantial buzz with his 2018 debut, Just To Be Ironic, while he was still a teenager. Following the paramount success of 2019's Tommy Gun EP and 2021's Ultra Mango EP and Liquid EP, Newport continues to develop his euphonious sound. 

The album was co-written and produced by Grammy nominated producer Will Yip (Code Orange, Title Fight, Turnstile) who is also a longtime collaborator of Max Bemis. To date he has shared the singles “Evermore (and the Grammy goes to),' “Girls The Truth' and most recently “Grace Beyond Christ.”

Australian arena-filling duo Lime Cordiale will embark on their long-awaited tour of the US and Canada, beginning in Philadelphia on July 7th and continuing through historic venues across the continent for the rest of the month! North America is about to find out why The Guardian hailed them as 'one of the most impressive bands in the land.'

The Regrettes share their new music video for “Barely On My Mind,” directed by Claire Vogel. The video was recorded on the streets of Brooklyn ahead of their sold-out Irving Plaza show during the Further Joy headlining tour. The band has remaining “Further Joy” headlining dates in the US in cities including Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and more.

The band are today releasing new song “Ricochet” a gothic dark pop churn with lead vocalist and songwriter Matthew Flegel.
