Kathleen Madigan to Perform at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, 5/6

EPIX to Air New Wanda Sykes Stand-Up Event

Premium TV network EPIX announced today that it will spotlight the straightforward and no-nonsense comedy of Emmy Award winning comedian, writer and actress Wanda Sykes, in the one-hour Original Comedy Event What Happened...Ms. Sykes? Best known for her roles in 'The New Adventures of Old Christine,' 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' and 'The Chris Rock Show,' What Happened...Ms. Sykes? Sykes' first stand-up performance for the network makes its World Television Premiere on EPIX on Friday, October 21 at 10pm ET/PT, 9pm C.

Lewis Black's ONE SLIGHT HITCH Coming to The Human Race Theatre, 4/8

Spring has sprung and while love is in the air at The Human Race, April showers loom for the characters of the theatre company's latest production, One Slight Hitch. Life in suburban Cincinnati is good for Doc and Delia Coleman on the morning they're about to throw their eldest daughter the perfect wedding they never had, that is until her vagabond exboyfriend arrives on their doorstep and turns their best laid plans into total chaos. The result is a zany, door-slamming comedy about stressed-out parents, less-than-helpful siblings and interruptions galore from the mind of comedian Lewis Black. Will their daughter make it down the aisle or will the day end up a perfect disaster? The production at The Human Race's downtown Dayton home at The Loft Theatre is directed by Margarett Perry and features actors Brian Dykstra and Rita Rehn, with Dana Berger, Alex Curtis, Cecily Dowd, Kyle Nunn and Alex Sunderhaus. The preview performance of One Slight Hitch is Thursday, April 7. Opening night is Friday, April 8. The production runs through April 24.

Bill Burr to Bring Latest Tour to NJPAC, 6/17

) New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is proud to announce The Third Party Tour starring comedian and actor BILL BURR who comes to NJPAC's Prudential Hall for two exciting performances on Friday, June 17 at 7PM & 9:30PM. Bill Burr first gained notoriety for his recurring role on the second season of Chappelle's Show, he developed a comedic style of uninformed logic that has made him a regular with Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon. Bill Burr stars in the highly acclaimed animated Netflix series, F Is For Family co-starring Laura Dern and Justin Long as the Murphy family.  He was recently seen in the hysterically funny Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell film, Daddy's Home and he co-stars opposite Kevin Costner in the indie film, Black or White, which recently made its World Premiere at The Toronto International Film Festival.

JFL NorthWest, Vancouver's Comedy Festival, Ends on a High Note

Vancouver, BC - NorthWest Comedy Fest and Just For Laughs are proud to celebrate the success of their inaugural comedy festival, JFL NorthWest, which took place February 18-27. Over 22,000 fans attended the 10-day festival, which featured more than 60 performances at 16 venues across Vancouver. In addition, audiences world-wide were able to catch a glimpse of the festival and some of their favourite comedians via Periscope.
