We were treated to a Q&A with Dan Gillespie Sells (Music), Ivano Turco (Jamie New), Giovanna Fletcher (Miss Hedge) and Talia Palamathanan (Pritti Pasha), hosted by Jonathan Butterell (Director). The holidays are here, which can only mean one thing - Christmas specials are arriving! Bad Education: A Christmas Carol, debuted this week on BBC Three. BroadwayWorld had the opportunity to speak with Felix Hagan, co-writer of the multi-award winning musical Operation Mincemeat, who wrote original songs for the episode, and Shay Barclay, the programme's choreographer, who recently choreographed West-End production of The Wizard of Oz.

The BBC have revealed their festive line-up, including many theatrical treats. Among the announcements are Rambert's Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby, Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty and The Hound of the Baskervilles, recorded on the stage of London’s Barbican Theatre.

The multi-award-winning entertainment show, produced by BBC Studios, will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for its new series this autumn, once again bringing glitter, glamour and glorious dancing to homes across the nation.

EVERYBODY'S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE star Layton Williams will compete on the 2023 edition of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. The news was announced on BBC's The One Show. Air dates for this year's competition have not yet been announced.

The Olivier Award, which had been stolen during October's Musical Con, has been found! The fan convention took place at ExCeL London in October. The event was the first of its kind and brought together 10,000 musical theatre fans for a celebration of musicals.

Following two previously sold out concerts West End Musical Christmas returns for another all-singing,  all-dancing extravaganza brought to you by the award-winning producers of West End Musical Brunch, West End Musical Drive In, West End Musical Celebration, West End Musical Love Songs, West End Musical Halloween and Musical Con, the UK’s first-ever musical theatre fan convention.

Patrons, Joanne Clifton, Jenna Russell and Layton Williams all have scholarships named after them for the upcoming academic year at Canterbury's JGH Academy of Theatre Arts, and have announced the recipients for students joining them from September 2022.

Tony/Grammy Winning Superstar Jennifer Holliday joins 'The Roundtable with Robert Bannon' Thursday May 12th at 7pm EST on 'The Roundtable' YouTube Channel. Holliday, famous for her portrayal of Effie in 'Dreamgirls' recently released a brand new single 'So In Love' now streaming on all streaming platforms.
