'We’re just excited to be a part of a process that helps promote and foster new art.' West Hyler, Executive Artistic Director of the inaugural South Carolina New Play Festival, wants to tell you a story.

The South Carolina New Play Festival announced the shows for the city-wide performing arts festival in Greenville, South Carolina, August 12-14. The festival will feature readings of Kate Hamill's The Scarlet Letter, directed by Shelley Butler, Kareem Fahmy's Dodi and Diana, directed by Adrienne Campell-Holt, Adam Ben-David, Christyn Budzyna, and Jessica Penzias' musical From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, directed by West Hyler, and Samantha Miller's Dragonsoul Offline. The festival will end with a cabaret from Jarrod Spector and Kelli Barrett.

The South Carolina New Play Festival has announced that it will take over Greenville's downtown August 12–14, 2022, with readings of new plays and musicals at the Peace Center, Greenville Theatre, Warehouse Theatre, and the South Carolina Children's Theatre, and a closing-night cabaret at Genevieve's featuring Broadway celebrities Jarrod Spector and Kelli Barrett.

It was announced today that a powerhouse team of collaborators, including Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector and stage and screen star Kelli Barrett, have launched Full Circle Artists, a revolutionary full-service, bicoastal concert agency providing artists & venues the highest caliber entertainment and service imaginable. 

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center just concluded The Bridges of Madison County, The Musical, starring Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!, Finian's Rainbow) and Aaron Lazar (A Little Night Music, The Light in the Piazza).

Seattle Rep announced that Tony-nominated leading man Jarrod Spector has been cast in the highly anticipated role of Steven Spielberg in the world-premiere production of BRUCE.

The Barrett-Spector family debuted a new show at 54 Below last week and Broadway World Cabaret was there to catch the action for the fans.

Jarrod and Kellie have taken their big voices and beauty and added them to an intricately scripted, meticulously rehearsed, and blissfully spectacular new show that, just last night, came into the light.

This week, FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

For two nights, 54 Below will be playing some to some royalty... by way of Mr. Spector and Ms. Barrett. That's Mr. and Mrs., if you please.

Jessie Mueller and Erika Henningsen will be appearing as special guests in Jarrod Spector and Kelli Barrett’s upcoming show, Kings and Queens, at 54 Below on Wednesday, October 13 and Thursday, October 14, respectively. 

Last night, actor and star of “Chicken and Biscuits” Michael Urie hosted “Opening Night at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street”, a celebration of New York City and Broadway taking place at the Bloomingdale’s flagship.

The event will feature performances from Dear Evan Hansen, Aladdin, Wicked, The Lion King, and Diana The Musical.

The fun continues with several more events, including a ladies outing at The Madoo Conservancy, as well as A Memorable Evening in Memphis Modern to be held at Trustee member Eric Segal and his wife Joyce’s home in Southampton on Thursday, August 19, at 7 p.m.
