With a book by John August and music by Andrew Lippa, the musical is based on the film and novel of the same name. The show is directed by Alex S. Freeman, with music direction by Jason Philip Solis, and choreography by Kelsey Jordan Ward. Thi Le serves as Assistant Director and Hannah Tolle is the Stage Manager.

 An Aladdin 30th Anniversary Reunion will headline DIS Con 2022, a one-of-a-kind expo celebrating all facets of the wonderful world of Disney – from Disney, Marvel and Pixar animation to film, television, theme parks, music and memorabilia.

The Firehouse Theatre has announced its “Great Adventure 2022 Season”. The season includes Violet, Anything Goes, Big Fish: Small Cast, The SpongeBob Musical, Catch Me If You Can, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

This is the case for Edward Bloom, the larger than life “hero” of the story of BIG FISH – now onstage (and streaming) at the Titusville Playhouse in Titusville, Florida.

Deadline reports that John August will write a new animated musical for Warner Animation: 'Toto,' based on the book 'Toto: The Dog-Gone Amazing Story of the Wizard of Oz.'

Broadway cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf (Bridges of Madison County, A Little Night Music) will host an evening that explores beautiful melodies from Broadway and beyond. With Scots-born guitarist Steve Gibb, Mairi will also celebrate Robert Burns Night by weaving in some of Scotland's most beloved melodies, and inviting her guests to perform their own versions of Burns' timeless poetry.
