ENGLISH is a funny and contemplative play written by Sanaz Toossi that explores the vulnerability, and determination, of adults of a variety of ages in Iran who are learning English.  ENGLISH is playing at The Old Globe through February 25th.

Abingdon Theatre Company has announced casting for their 3rd annual Virtual Festival of Short Plays; a festival set to shed light on stories written by BIPOC playwrights.

Dramatic Publishing has licensed the Broadway production of The Kite Runner, and a North American tour is being planned for 2024. Tour cities, dates and casting will be announced. The Kite Runner will have played 17 previews and 117 regular performances on Broadway.

On October 30, 2022, Broadway says goodbye to The Kite Runner, which plays its final performance at the Hayes Theater. The Kite Runner ran for 17 previews and 101 regular performances. 

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present Rona Siddiqui’s Salaam Medina: Tales of a Halfghan in concert on October 24, 2022, at 9:30pm. Salaam Medina: Tales of a Halfghan is a zany autobiographical comedy about growing up bi-ethnic in America.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced additional casting for their 34th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which returns in person and takes place on Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2022 at New World Stages.
