The Bessies have announced recipients of the 2024 and 2025 Lifetime Achievement and Outstanding Service to the Field of Dance awards. Honorees include Dyane Harvey-Salaam, Garth Fagan, Ballet Tech, and Gibney Dance.

The York Theatre Company has released a first-look video of GOTTA DANCE with AMERICAN DANCE MACHINE, celebrating iconic musical theatre choreography. The production features reconstructed dance numbers from West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Singin’ in the Rain, and more. GOTTA DANCE is presented at the Theatre at St. Jean’s in New York City.

Following its sold-out, award-winning international premiere, Beaches, A New Musical will open on Broadway this spring at the Majestic Theatre, for a limited New York engagement to launch its multi-city National Tour.

Antonia Franceschi has been appointed Interim Artistic Director at New York Theatre Ballet. Franceschi's appointment fills the role of former artistic director Steven Melendez who stepped down in November 2025.

Jessica Vosk appeared at the Detroit Lions game this week to perform the National Anthem. Fresh off her run in Hell's Kitchen on Broadway, Vosk donned a Lions jersey to perform live at the Thursday night matchup.
