Cherry Lane Theatre will conclude their season with the World Premiere of ORIGINAL SOUND, by Adam Seidel, directed by Elena Araoz with music direction by Daniel Ocanto. ORIGINAL SOUND will begin performances on Tuesday, April 30 run through June 8, 2019, and will celebrate its opening night on May 9, 2019, at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan). Producers Suzanne Gilad & Larry Rogowsky announced today that the hit musical comedy THE OTHER JOSH COHEN will end its extended Off-Broadway run at the Westside Theatre on April 7, 2019. A National Tour will launch in 2020, cities and dates will be announced at a later date.

The cast of off-Broadway hit musical The Other Josh Cohen recently appeared at Google Talks.

Producers Suzanne Gilad & Larry Rogowsky are pleased to announce that Jane Bruce (Jagged Little Pill) and Cathryn Wake (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812) will join the cast of the critically-acclaimed musical comedy THE OTHER JOSH COHEN now playing at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd St). Jane joins the cast tonight, Tuesday, January 29, taking over the roles played by original cast member Kate Wetherhead. Cathryn begins performances on Tuesday, February 5, taking over for Hannah Elless who departs the production on February 3. Megan Loomis (The Dead 1904) joins the cast as the female standby.

Beginning January 20th, 2019, award-winning musical theatre composer and singer-songwriter, Drew Gasparini will produce and host a brand new live concert series at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 3) in New York City showcasing local writers and performers.

PEGGY LEE is being celebrated December 15 at 7:00PM at Green Room 42 as the Season Finale of Blake Allen's 'An Evening With...' Series. In the 1950's, Wildwood NJ was known as "The Las Vegas of the East." For three months a year, this small south Jersey town turned into the biggest party of the summer. Everything converged in Wildwood- The Rat Pack, doo wop, soul, and the beginnings of rock and roll.

Following word last week that the Alanis Morissette musical JAGGED LITTLE PILL would be getting a winter developmental lab, it looks like the show is gearing up to announce the next step on its journey. There has not yet been an official announcement as to where the next production of JAGGED LITTLE PILL will take place, but anything from another out-of-town tryout to a Broadway bow seems possible. 

Jagged Little Pill will stage a developmental lab this winter, following its world premiere earlier this year at the American Repertory Theater.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) announces that it has added a performance of Jagged Little Pill at 7:30PM on Friday, June 8 due to demand.

There's a lot to digest in the American Repertory Theater (ART) premiere of the new musical JAGGED LITTLE PILL, billed as a story of 'pain, healing, and empowerment' based on Alanis Morissette's landmark rock album of the same name. Directed and choreographed - sometimes too aggressively - by Diane Paulus and Sidi Larbi, this exploration of a suburban Connecticut family's extensive sturm und drang packs a checklist of contemporary issues into one explosive package.
