National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce the cast for the SONGWRITERS SHOWCASE and the SONGWRITERS CABARET at the 27th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16. Both events take place at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "24@54' on May 25 at 9:30pm. Hosted by Obie award winning writer-composer Polly Pen (Bed and Sofa, Arlington) it will feature original songs from NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program's cycle 24. Proceeds for the concert will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Organizer Marella Martin says, "This concert represents our public entry into the musical theatre community.
