The PATH Fund Inc. has announced the release of Purple Rain, featuring Tony Award-winner (The Color Purple) and current nominee (Trouble in Mind), LaChanze, the latest single from the new Rockers On Broadway: Live  (Volume 1), an album of the best live performances from Rockers On Broadway concerts over the past 28 years.

Forestburgh Playhouse, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Franklin Trapp, has announced the 2022 Forestburgh Under the Stars Concert Series (June 3 - 18).

In addition to the excitement that comes with seeing new Broadway shows and their performances as part of the annual Tony Awards ceremony, many of these new productions will also release cast albums to forever preserve their show’s music and iconic performances. Traditionally, new musicals develop a cast album where the actors and musicians record the music from their show, on their days off in a studio, culminating in an album that is released to the public. This method has been exhibited in famous musical cast albums such as 'The Phantom of the Opera' and 'Les Misérables' and more recently in shows such as 'Flying Over Sunset.' However, with the release of more cast albums this year, composers, producers and directors alike are finding ways to shift the traditional paradigm when it comes to recording new musicals.

The Atlantic Theater Company opened the world premiere production of The Bedwetter, a new musical with a book by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon and Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman and we were on the red carpet to capture the night!

Forestburgh Playhouse has announced the 2022 Forestburgh Under the Stars Broadway Concert Series (June 3 - 18).

SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky has announced the first of the summer streaming concert series lineup. Stars set for May and June include Judy Kuhn, Morgan James, Mandy Gonzalez, and Tony Yazbeck.

She is risen! And a new cast recording is on the rise! On April 29, Jesus Christ Superstar: Highlights From The All-Female Studio Cast Recording, will at last be available as a full collection of songs at all digital music services.

The York Theatre Company will bring the Manhattan Queen of Cabaret, Marilyn Maye, accompanied by the incomparable Tedd Firth, to The Theatre at St. Jeans for a ONE-NIGHT-ONLY special benefit concert of Marilyn Maye in May on Monday evening, May 16, 2022 beginning at 7:30PM.

The limited engagement will continue through Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2022 at 2:30PM at The York’s temporary home, The Theatre at St. Jeans (150 East 76th Street, between Lexington and Third Avenues). Opening Night is Thursday evening, April 7, 2022 at 7:00PM.
