The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) hosted two fundraising concerts at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on 7 & 8 February 2026 (Saturday & Sunday) successfully.

Invited and appointed by the China National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra, Jing Wang, Concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, will assume the position of Guest Concertmaster of the China NCPA Orchestra.

Lyric Opera of Chicago revealed that soprano Jennifer Holloway will portray the title role in Richard Strauss’s Salom. Holloway will step into the role in place of Elena Stikhina, who is withdrawing from the production due to her pregnancy.

HK Phil Music Director Designate Tarmo Peltokoski will return to lead the HK Phil in an orchestral adaptation of Wagner's The Ring – a condensed yet thrilling symphonic adventure.
