Vassar College has announced the lineup for the 39th Powerhouse Theater Season. The annual summer season brings together some of today's most influential theatrical voices and welcomes the next generation of theater artists as members of the renowned Powerhouse Theater Training Program.
Joining Antonia each week will be a rotating guest judge, including Nate Appleman, Guy Fieri, Alex Guarnaschelli, Stephanie Izard, Troy Johnson, Mei Lin, Jeremy McBryde, Jasmine Roth, Joe Sasto Jet Tila, and Claudette Zepeda. Only one team member will be able to take the heat and win bragging rights and the ultimate beach getaway.
Inspired by the singular, enduring popularity of the global icon herself and by the excitement surrounding the upcoming release of the Warner Bros. Pictures film, Barbie, HGTV will harness the unmatched power of its corporate siblings to support four nostalgia-filled episodes and execute Barbie-themed cross-network content and promotions.

The New Hazlett Theater is thrilled to announce its 10th Season of Community Supported Art (CSA), boasting five premiere performances from Pittsburgh-based artists. Running from October 2022 to April 2023, The New Hazlett CSA Season offers a broad range of performances, including several original plays, a hip-hop performance, a multidisciplinary concert, and a movement-based work.
GTV will debut its first-ever TikTok original series starring Help! I Wrecked My House host, Jasmine Roth. The Mother's Day-inspired series will kick off with new episodes dropping daily through Sunday, May 15, and will document Jasmine surprising her mom with a beach condo and a top-to-bottom renovation to make it the ultimate oasis.
Fun, breathtakingly creative renovations that showcase unbridled imagination and incredible home transformations are on tap for HGTV and discovery+ this spring. The network and streamer highlighted eleven new home series at today’s Television Critics Association (TCA) tour, including Lil Jon Wants To Do What? and a series from Melissa McCarthy.
Competitors include Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb (Unsellable Houses), Dave and Jenny Marrs (Fixer to Fabulous), Detroit-based Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (Bargain Block) and Atlanta’s veteran real estate broker Egypt Sherrod and her builder husband Mike Jackson (Married to Real Estate).
“Homeowners are drowning in these unfinished projects and it doesn’t seem like there’s any end in sight, ” said Jasmine. “The only way that they can move forward at this point is to throw in the towel and to bring in a professional, so that’s where I come in.”
The competition has ended for now, but HGTV and Rock the Block will fight childhood hunger by providing 100,000 meals to kids in need through Turn Up: Fight Hunger.
“Throughout this competition, I created spaces that were more and more ‘me.’ I laid it all out on the table here,” said Carmeon, as she reflected on the competition midway through the finale episode.
