Moved to action by the troubles facing Haiti's orphaned and injured children after January's devastating earthquake, BB KING BLUES CLUB and THE PATH FUND have joined forces and will be donating 100% of the proceeds of this special benefit concert to UNICEF and Save the Children, organizations working in Haiti to provide safe havens for the thousands of children left homeless by the earthquake.

The New York Times has revealed that the York Theater's production of ENTER LAUGHING, based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Carl Rainer about a young actor managing his life and women, that ran off-Broadway last season will head to the Great White Way in the 2010 - 2011 season. No theater has been booked.

The 6th Annual Broadway Unplugged Concert at The Town Hall took place on Monday, November 16th. The concert's musical director, for the sixth consecutive year, was Ross Patterson. Taking the helm as director was Scott Coulter.

AFTER THE STORM, a doc competition film at the LA Film Fest that focuses on a group of displaced teens in post-Katrina New Orleans as they audition and rehearse for a production of 'Once On This Island', the hurricane-themed hit Broadway musical. Two American Idol finalists from past seasons reunite this summer to perform live on stage in the heart of America. Anthony Fedorov and Diana DeGarmo will star in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, part of the 2009 summer season of musicals produced by Lyric Theatre, Oklahoma's premiere regional theatre company. Fedorov, a finalist from Season 4, and DeGarmo, the runner-up from Season 3, will perform respectively as Joseph and the Narrator in Andrew Lloyd Webber's most cherished musical, playing from Tuesday, July 21st through Saturday, July 25th.
