Claire Kwon, Clint Holmes and More to Perform at 54 Below Next Week

Next week, 54 Below will present the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond, including Claire Kwon, Clint Holmes and more.

Clint Holmes: IN JOY – A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION CONCERT – MAY 18 AT 7PM

An 80th birthday celebration wrapped in a very special concert event… and you’re invited. Clint returns to 54 Below to celebrate with old friends and new. A Grammy-nominated recording artist, composer, playwright, TV personality and stage entertainer – the truth is, Clint Holmes defies categorization. So the title of the show is fitting in that it depicts the one universal theme that describes how Clint lives, works and plays – In Joy. We invite you to share the joy with us and experience an evening filled with the music that has shaped his storied career. You’ll hear songs you know and love by the singers and songwriters who inspired him, classic standards and Clint’s original music through which he tells his incredible story.

$91 cover charge (includes $11 in fees). $151.50 premium seating (includes $16.50 in fees). $25 food & beverage minimum.

Claire Kwon: CLAIRE SQUARED – MAY 18 AT 9:30PM

Just 24 hours after finishing her six-week run as Claire in Maybe Happy Ending, Claire Kwon makes her 54 Below solo debut in Claire Squared. Living her Broadway dream faster than she imagined, Claire now faces a new question: can you be a Broadway star and a regular person? (Do stars still do laundry? Call their moms? Obsessively read about IR paradigms at 2am?)

With humor, heart, and powerhouse vocals, she traces her journey from community theater in New Jersey to the Belasco stage. Once a swing covering 16 total tracks in shows like Teeth, Almost Famous, and Galileo, living in the exhilarating chaos of constant transformation. Claire Squared is a homecoming of sorts: Claire goes from playing everyone to finally playing herself (well… and Claire).

Featuring songs from across her career, new works by emerging female AAPI composers, behind-the-scenes stories, and maybe a surprise guest, Claire Squared is magnetic, hilarious, and unapologetically Claire. Just don’t ask her to cover 16 tracks that night. Or maybe do…

Featuring special guests Sara Al-Bazali, Maddie Burton, Noah Marlowe, Daniel May, Josh Lee, and Christopher James Tamayo.

Also joined by pianists Jon Bauerfeld and Doug Peck.

$52.50 cover charge (includes $7.50 in fees). $85.50 premium seating (includes $10.50 in fees). $25 food & beverage minimum.
