Broadway might be dark, but that doesn't mean that theatre isn't happening everywhere! Below, check out where you can get your daily fix of Broadway this weekend, April 3-4, 2021.

The Group Rep will present REVENGE, a brand-new thriller directed by Bruce Kimmel. We could tell you more, but why spoil the fun, and besides, if we told you more, we'd have to kill you. A reading of a diabolical thriller you won't want to miss streams one time only on Saturday, April 3 at 5:00 pm (PDT).

For the 112th Kritzerland show, it's All the Weill, a celebration of the brilliant music of Kurt Weill, along with his equally brilliant lyricists, Bertolt Brecht, Ogden Nash, Langston Hughes, Ira Gershwin, Alan Jay Lerner, and Maxwell Anderson.

The Group Rep pulls the curtain back on UNHIDDEN FIGURES a virtual play festival of new short plays celebrating African-American women from all walks of life.

For the first time in its 46-year history, the Group Rep presents HOLIDAY TRADITIONS AND TRAPPINGS, a collection of new short plays and stories that explore the humor and challenges in surviving the holidays (during non-pandemic times). These little portraits of humanity focus on romance, traditions, gift-giving and tiny miracles.

The Group Rep presents a pay-per-view staged production from the Lonny Chapman Theatre of TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, written by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, from the book by Mitch Albom directed by L. Flint Esquerra, co-produced by Lloyd Pedersen and Gina Yates.

Kritzerland will present its 108th show SING HAPPY! THE SONGS OF KANDER & EBB as a benefit for Group Rep this Sunday August 9, 2020 at 5p PST via their Facebook and YouTube pages. This tribute to legendary composers John Kander and Fred Ebb (hosted by its incomparably witty producer Bruce Kimmel and co-produced by Doug Haverty) will feature Brent Barrett, Debbie Gravitte, Peyton Kirkner, Karen Mason, Kerry O'Malley, Hartley Powers, Jennifer Simard, Sami Staitman, Adrienne Stiefel, Robert Yacko and Karen Ziemba. got the chance to ask of few queries of Kerry, who in Kritzerland #107 performed a show-stopping duet with herself in a tongue-twisting, speed-singing 'All For The Best' from GODSPELL. Simply brilliant!

The Group Rep will premiere HALLWAYS: Stories from Juvie, a new streaming multi-media project, directed by Heidi Mendez Harrison, based on her book featuring real life stories shared by kids serving time in a juvenile detention center.

For the 108th Kritzerland show, it's a tribute to one of the most beloved songwriting teams in Broadway history, Kander and Ebb. The music and lyrics of John Kander and Fred Ebb have been delighting people since their Broadway debut, Flora, the Red Menace, which began their long association with Liza Minnelli.

For the 107th Kritzerland show, Kritzerland stays home once again with another talent-packed song-filled show Kritzerland Influencers. The free benefit show will feature classic theater and film songs, some rarities, and a few songs that might be completely unfamiliar.

With the current theatre world on hiatus, I have created a Spotlight Series on Broadway World which features interviews with some of the many talented artists who make our Los Angeles theatre community so exciting and vibrant thanks to their ongoing contribution to keeping the Arts alive in the City of the Angels. And just like all of us, I wondered how they are dealing with the abrupt end of productions in which they were involved. This Spotlight focuses on Sascha Vanderslik, a native Australian who calls The Group Rep Theatre Company her new home.

For the 106th Kritzerland show, Kritzerland is once again doing the show on Facebook and YouTube Live. For the June show, there's a great cast, it's more ambitious than the May show, and once again any donations would go to the Group Rep Theater in North Hollywood, non-profit 501 (c) (3).
