As a part of Alley All New, the Alley Theatre announces two workshop presentations of the new musical in progress Lover, Beloved: An Evening with Carson McCullers tonight, August 23 (7:30 p.m.), and August 26 (8:00 p.m.) in the Texas Room.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for the theatre's Summer Thrills Series and Broadway musical event - A Night With Janis Joplin. In celebration of William Shakespeare's life, the Alley Theatre hosts Shakespeare@400, a variety of educational and patron-engaging events, highlighted by the production of A Midsummer Night's Dream beginning October 7. Alley Theatre presents REMOTE HOUSTON, a participatory, pedestrian-based live theatre experience where groups of 50 individuals meet and discover the city of Houston from a new remote perspective. The performances begin tonight, April 12, and run through May 13.
