The Christmas with The Tabernacle Choir holiday special celebrates its 20th year with PBS premiering December 12, 2023. This perennial favorite, PBS’ #1 holiday show each year, this year features guest stars Lea Salonga and Sir David Suchet performing with the 360-membered Tabernacle Choir and 110-piece Orchestra in the 21,000 seat Salt Lake City Conference Center. This program, titled Season of Light, was taped as a compilation of three performances last holiday season. I had the opportunity to partake in a Zoom Q&A with Lea, Sir David and music director Mack Wilberg.

Body 115, an energetic blend of theatre and richly lyrical poetry, written and performed by Jan Noble returns to the Hope Theatre, London as part of Camden Fringe from 20 August (Press night 21 August). Adapted for the stage by award winning writer and director Justin Butcher (Scaramouche Jones, The Madness of George Dubya), Body 115 is a tale of inner and outer journeys in explicit homage to Dante’s Divine Comedy.

Following its hugely successful UK tour and West End run, Sir David Suchet returns to stages across the UK in POIROT AND MORE, A RETROSPECTIVE, retracing his steps as a young actor. With a first stop at Cheltenham Everyman Theatre in January 2024, David will visit theatres across the country until March 2024.

The Turbine Theatre, at Battersea Power Station will bring Halls, a new musical directed by Andy Fickman (Heathers) and written by Jennifer Harrison and George Stroud, to audiences from 07 July.

The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, adapted by Ken Ludwig, directed by Risa Brainin.

The Ensemble Company, now in their fifth year in residence at Penguin Point Productions located within the Oviedo Mall, continues its 2023 season with a production of Edward Albee's masterpiece, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, which celebrated 60 years in 2022.  Virginia Woolf is rescheduled from The Ensemble Company's 2022 season.

Heathers the Musical, will be ushering in a new cast from 21st February at The Other Palace, with the show now booking until 3 September 2023.

David Suchet is to bring his show Poirot and More, a Retrospective to Hampstead Theatre in support of the London venue following its 100% Arts Council England funding cut.
