This Memorial Day Weekend, comedian, actress and three-time Emmy nominee and Saturday Night Live alum, Leslie Jones, will make her venue debut at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, on Friday, May 26, 2023. Jones will bring her beloved comedic style to the stage in a one-night-only presentation of her Leslie Jones: Live Tour. Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. PST.

The Groundlings latest Friday/Saturday night show LARRY GROUNDLINGS DDS opens September 30, 2022 (with previews already started). Deanna Oliver directs Lyric Lewis the hilarious cast of Alex Bonifer, Lauren Burns, Sam DeSurra, Julian Gant, Lyric Lewis, Emily Pendergast, Jay Renshaw and Leonard Robinson. I managed to catch a few moments with Lyric between her writing, clowning and mom-ing.

When funny ladies Allison Dunbar and Emily Pendergrast decided to produce a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood September 16th, they simply picked up their phones and called their Sister Groundlings to participate. The roster for September 16th includes current main company members, as well as Groundlings alumni. Deanna Oliver directs Lauren Burns, Patty Guggenheim, Rachel Harris, Phyllis Katz, Lyric Lewis, Karen Maruyama, Laraine Newman, Cheri Oteri, Jessica Pohly, Ariane Price, Lisa Schurga, Annie Sertich, Cathy Shambley, Mindy Sterling, Christen Sussin and Michaela Watkins. I had the chance to catch the very busy Allison to respond to a few questions between her recent nuptials and the fundraiser.

The series features notable stars including Danny Trejo (Machete), Kate Flannery (The Office), Pete Gardner (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Creed Bratton (The Office), Christian A. Pierce (The Real Bros of Simi Valley), Sam Asghari (Hacks), Brittany Furlan Lee (The Dirt), Jessica Sarah Flaum (The Tale), and more.

Cotuit Center for the Arts has announced that the Woods Hole Film Festival will present a three-night series of film screenings on April 14, 15, & 16 at 7:00pm, in the Center’s main performance space.

Breaking Glass Pictures has announced the release of the heartfelt multi-award-winning comedy-drama GIVE OR TAKE directed by Paul Riccio. The film will open theatrically on February 11 in multiple markets, including Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Cape Cod, and more.
