The first footage of the Wicked movie was shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last night. Audio of 'Defying Gravity' and 'Popular' were played, giving attendees a first listen to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo singing Stephen Schwartz's iconic music. According to a new casting notice, the upcoming Wicked movie is authentically-casting a wheelchair user as Young Nessarose, a new character for the film. Marissa Bode will be playing Nessarose in the upcoming two-part film adaptation, also starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.
