Shakespeare’s Globe has revealed the cast of Romeo and Juliet, directed by Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes. Romeo and Juliet launches the summer season, running from 25 April until 2 August in the Globe Theatre.

The cast and full 2025 tour dates for James Graham's adaptation of Alan Bleasdale's Boys from the Blackstuff have been announced.

With one woman playing all the characters, from gods Athena and Poseidon to the prophet Cassandra doomed to never be believed, this retelling of the Euripides classic is sparked by a mother losing a child in a flash of modern-day warfare.
