Theatre By The Sea owner and producer Bill Hanney is proud to welcome back members of the Doo-Wopp Hall of Fame of America, who have proven to be very popular with audiences in previous seasons. This very special concert will be presented on Monday, August 30 at 7:30 pm.

Theatre By The Sea's owner and producer Bill Hanney, who recently announced the reopening of Theatre By The Sea after a 21-month intermission, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, will open the 2021 Summer Concert Series with Rhode Island's own Nicolas King on Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10 at 8:00 pm.

Theatre By The Sea's owner and producer Bill Hanney, who recently announced the return of entertainment at the historic seaside playhouse, has announced the addition of three new concerts.

Due to the COVID restrictions and capacity limits currently in place in the state of Rhode Island, coupled with the safety protocols required by the artistic unions with which Theatre By The Sea is associated, the theatre will be unable to move forward with the originally planned 2021 summer season.

Theatre By the Sea's 2021 season is still uncertain as the health crisis continues.

The General Manager of North Shore Music Theatre, Karen Nascembeni, awakened yesterday and is breathing on her own after being on a ventilator for 31 days. Karen was admitted to the hospital with coronavirus on St. Patrick's Day. 

In response to ongoing developments with the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Pandemic and out of concern for the health and safety of audiences, performers, musicians, crew members, and staff, Theatre By The Sea's owner and producer Bill Hanney has announced that he has decided to postpone the 2020 summer season until 2021.

In response to ongoing developments in the COVID-19 Pandemic, and for the safety of North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) patrons, employees, and artists, Bill Hanney's North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is announcing a significant change in previously announce programming.

The costume department at North Shore Music Theater has gone from making lavish costumes to making face masks during the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak. The masks will be produced using purple fabrics whenever possible to honor NSMT's General Manager, Karen Nascembeni, who remains in critical condition in ICU battling COVID-19.

In response to ongoing developments, by orders by the Governor of Massachusetts, and in an effort to preserve the health and safety of North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) patrons, employees, and artists, the following pre-season shows are cancelled:

Bill Hanney's North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) will once again present the area's most beloved production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL sponsored by MarketStreet Lynnfield. This award-winning, original musical adaptation was created solely for North Shore Music Theatre in 1989 and cannot be seen anywhere else. A CHRISTMAS CAROL will play 14 performances from Friday, December 6 thru Sunday, December 22, 2019. 

Last Night the BODYGUARD opened to a very warm audience reception at North Shore Music Theatre. The final offering of the 2019 regular musical season THE BODYGUARD is a new musical based on the smash hit 1992 film.
