The Tony Award-winning Best Musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical is releasing a new block of tickets for performances through February 26, 2023 at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th St, NYC).

Following the cancellation of some performances last week due to a number of cast members being out with COVID-19, cast members have returned to the show - performing masked - ahead of the conclusion of their scheduled 10 day leave.

Today and tomorrow's performances of Broadway's smash hit Moulin Rouge! The Musical have been cancelled. An Instagram story post from the show's official account broke the news. The notice reads, 'Due to positive COVID cases in the company, performances today and tomorrow of Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway are cancelled.' 

Today's top stories include Mrs. Doubtfire setting a closing date, which was announced last night. The show will play its final performance on May 29. In happier news, for colored girls... which was set to close May 22, has now been extended through June 5. Plus, a cast recording for A Strange Loop will be released next month, and more!

Aaron Tveit and Natlie Mendoza appeared on The View this morning to perform 'Your Song' from Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Originally by Elton John, the song is one of the many popular songs covered in the musical. Moulin Rouge! The Musical is the winner of ten 2021 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Actor for Tveit.

Tony Award nominee Robyn Hurder will play her final performance as Nini in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Jessica Lee Goldyn begins performances in the role starting Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
