Wordy and worldy indie four-piece, The Lathums, land somewhere between Bowie’s famous stroll across East Sussex sands in Ashes To Ashes.

VICE Studios, the global production division of VICE Media Group (VMG), is adding Alex Moore, former CEO of a two-time Academy Award-winning production company, to the newly created role of VP, Non-Fiction based in London.

With a Little Help... It's John Belushi, an award-winning, multimedia production directed by Levy Lee Simon ('For the Love of Freedom,' 'Bow-Wow Club'), and stars Jack Zullo ('Bell Canyon,' 'Epic Rap Battles of History'), the show's book writer and producer makes its Off-Broadway debut at Theatre 80 from December 5-22. The show takes the audience on an epic journey of John's 12-year rise to entertainment icon status complete with live music, videos, and heartfelt Belushi-inspired sweat. A percentage of the show's proceeds will benefit Gilda's Club and The Comedians Assistance Fund.

Rover Dramawerks continues their 19th Season with the dark yet farcical comedy Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll & Hyde Play by Lauren Wilson. The play will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run October 10-26 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

FIRST BY FAITH: THE LIFE OF MARY MCLEOD BETHUNE, written and performed by Richarda Abrams, returns to New York's West End Theatre June 28 - July 21, 2019, after debuting at the 2018 United Solo Theatre Festival winning the Best Educational Show Award.

Portland Stage's current production, Jonathan Tolins' one-man, bitter-sweet comedy, Buyer & Cellar, offers Maine audiences a chance to revel not only in the protean talents of Dustin Tucker, who gives a compelling, engaging, irresistible ninety-minute virtuosic performance, but also in Tolins' agile sense of situation and ear for subtle character interaction. That all the characters (some five) are played by Tucker with the uncanny ability to make each unique is no small part of the charm and appeal of this production.
