The Public Theater will begin previews forTHE FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, a world premiere musical based on the nationally best-selling novel of the same name by Jonathan Lethem, on Tuesday, September 30. With a book by Itamar Moses, music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, and conceived and directed by Daniel Aukin, THE FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE will run through Sunday, November 2, with an official press opening on Wednesday, October 22.
