Dan Lauria

Daniel Lauria began his screen career with guest appearances on television series including Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Hunter, Growing Pains, L.A. Law, and Cagney & Lacey. He also appeared in the films Stakeout (1987) and Another Stakeout (1993).

Lauria is best known for starring as Jack Arnold on the television series The Wonder Years, which aired from 1988 to 1993. He later portrayed the Commanding Officer, USA in Independence Day (1996), NASA Administrator James Webb in the HBO miniseries From the Earth to the Moon (1998), appeared in an episode of Boy Meets World (1997), played Coach Hamstrung in The Three Stooges N.Y.U.K. (2000), and portrayed Police Commissioner Eustace Dolan in The Spirit (2008).

On stage, Lauria appeared in the 2006 Off-Broadway production of A Stone Carver. He also made guest appearances on Army Wives, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds (2009). Later in 2009, he returned Off-Broadway to portray Jimmy Hoffa in Good Bobby.

In 2010, Lauria starred as Vince Lombardi in the Broadway play Lombardi. He returned to Broadway in 2012 as Jean Shepherd in A Christmas Story: The Musical and reprised the role in an Off-Broadway production at Madison Square Garden in 2013.

From 2012 to 2014, Lauria starred as Jack Sullivan on the sitcom Sullivan & Son. He later played Al Luongo on the drama series Pitch from 2016 to 2017. In 2021, he starred in Wes Hurley's autobiographical film Potato Dreams of America, and in 2024, he portrayed Tip O'Neill in the biographical film Reagan.
