Worldwide hit musical SIX celebrated 1,000 performances in the West End last night with a special gala at the Vaudeville Theatre. Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, who created the show, joined the Queens on stage to take a 1000th anniversary selfie of the cast and audience.

Tsemaye is a Nigerian-born, London-based West End performer. She most recently starred in the World Premiere of a?oeTina: The Tina Turner Musicala?? at the Aldwych Theatre where she performed as Alline Bullock/Ikette, also understudying and performing the role of Tina Turner. Other credits include Janelle Woods/The Shirelles in Beautiful:The Carole King Musical also at Aldwych Theatre. Aisha Jawando, who has been with the Company since its world premiere in Spring 2018, steps up to play the title role in TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL from 8 October 2019.  Having originally played Tina's sister Alline Bullock, Jawando has subsequently performed the iconic role of Tina at certain performances. 

Last night (6 March 2019), Andrew Lloyd Webber's award-winning show School of Rock - The Musical celebrated its 1000th performance in the West End at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. The cast were joined in the celebrations by Julian Fellowes, who wrote the book for the show, director Laurence Connor and the show's choreographer JoAnn M. Hunter, as well as VIP guests.
