Review: OUR TOWN at 4th Wall Theatre Co.
by Armando Urdiales - Dec 4, 2025
4th Wall Theatre’s production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town is a heartfelt, wonderfully acted reminder of why this American classic continues to resonate with audiences of all ages. With clarity, simplicity, and a deep respect for Wilder’s vision, the company creates a Grover’s Corners that feels both familiar and profound, pulling us gently into a story where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

by Alan Portner - Nov 4, 2025
“Hello, Dolly!” is a crown jewel of American Musical Theatre. “Dolly” is a jubilant blend of romantic comedy, brassy optimism, and showstopping choreography.
Opening night for the White Theatre production of “Dolly” was so surprising and memorable that it earned itself a five-star rating from this reviewer and from its audience writ large.
Student Blog: Our Town and the Little Things That Make Life Big
by Student Blogger: Jed Stahlback - Nov 3, 2025
There’s something sacred about theatre, about being in a room with people who are all trying to tell a story together. You start as castmates, and somehow you become this little family. Theatre is fleeting. Life is fleeting. And that’s what makes it beautiful.
Where Are All Of the New Musicals This Season?
by Jennifer Ashley Tepper - Nov 2, 2025
Only two new musicals are opening on Broadway in the first half of the 2025-2026 season: The Queen of Versailles and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York). Review: Musical Theatre West Welcomes Back HELLO, DOLLY!
by Michael Quintos - Oct 22, 2025
During the recent opening night performance of Musical Theatre West's vibrant new production of the 10-time Tony Award-winning 1964 musical HELLO, DOLLY!, the enthusiastically appreciative audience might as well have chanted 'Hello, Tami!' judging from the reactions during the show's finalé bows. Making her long-awaited return to a Southern California musical theatre stage production after quite a long absence, local favorite Tami Tappan Damiano is nothing short of brilliant taking on the title role in a gorgeous, earnestly joy-filled new local revival of the classic musical, which continues performances at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, CA through November 2.
